January 3, 2020: Mocksville, NC 27028 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) and the visiting East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), saw Davie's basketball squad overcome East Surry by a tally of 55-45.
With the victory, Davie improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Demons in a challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. R.J. Reynolds won 69-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Ronald Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. East Surry will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
