Connecticut High School Basketball - Farmington overwhelms Somers
December 21, 2023: Farmington, CT 06032 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Farmington River Hawks (Farmington, CT) and the visiting Somers Spartans (Somers, CT), saw Farmington's basketball squad wallop Somers by a tally of 64-34.
With the victory, Farmington improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The River Hawks travel to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Ridgefield won 63-39 in their recent league challenge against Darien (Darien, CT)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Friday, December 29. Somers will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
