Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest overwhelms Hersey

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) and the host Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), saw Lake Forest's basketball squad wallop Hersey by a tally of 66-42.

With the victory, Lake Forest improves its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Scouts travel to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a North Suburban challenge on Monday, February 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Mundelein won 41-37 in their recent league challenge against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Hersey will attempt to improve on its 6-18 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 21-5 record after their 71-62 non-league win over Metea Valley (Aurora, IL).
