Texas High School Basketball - Westlake ripped by Putnam City West
December 4, 2021: Austin, TX 78746 The Putnam City West Patriots basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Westlake Chaparrals to 26 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norman North for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9. Putnam City West will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 81-20 non-league loss to Edmond North (Edmond, OK). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-1.
The Chaparrals (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Cardinals enter the 6A Region IV District 26 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Del Valle was routed by Elgin (Elgin, TX), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
