In Thursday's non-league outing, the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), by a margin of 73-42.

The Vaqueros (15-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wooster (Reno, NV). The Colts go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Wooster was trounced by Portola (Portola, CA), 34-20, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a 4A Northern outing on Thursday, January 4. Reed will clash with a Senators squad coming off a 49-33 non-league win over Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Senators record now stands at 5-7.
