February 14, 2017: Garfield Heights, OH 44125 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), by a count of 59-53.
The Trojans (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Vikings go into the North Coast outing with a 17-5 record. In their last outing, Villa Angela-St. Joseph held off St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH), 57-56, in a non-league outing.
The Invaders now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Holy Name for a Great Lakes outing on Friday, February 17. Normandy will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 89-67 non-league loss to Cleveland Central Catholic (Cleveland, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 16-3.
