Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves (Exeter, NE), 59-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Friend upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE) to play the Raiders in a D2 District 6 bout on Friday, December 16. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Lawrence-Nelson lost 49-38 in their recent league bout against Rock Hills (Mankato, KS)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the High Plains Storm (Polk, NE) in a D1 District 7 bout, on Friday, December 16. Exeter-Milligan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 58-37 non-league loss to Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE).
