Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) and the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), saw North Johnston's basketball squad wallop Smithfield-Selma by a count of 61-30.

With the victory, North Johnston upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-3.
