North Carolina High School Lacrosse - South Mecklenburg overwhelms Porter Ridge

April 12, 2018: Charlotte, NC 28210

The South Mecklenburg Sabres triumphed over the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates lacrosse team by a score of 13-6 in Thursday's league match.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Sabres host Cox Mill (Concord, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league match on Monday, April 16. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 3-5. Cox Mill won 11-9 in their recent non-league match against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

With the defeat, Porter Ridge drops to 4-8 on the season. The Pirates travel to Providence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Panthers in a Conference 15 match on Wednesday, April 18. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 6-6. Providence won 15-10 in their recent non-league match against Charlotte Secondary (Charlotte, NC)
