The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) and the visiting Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), observed Fridley's football squad bounce Kennedy by a count of 41-0.

The Tigers now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Richfield for a non-league contest on Friday, September 6. Fridley will play a Spartans squad coming off a 49-34 league win over St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
