Troy Trojans (Troy, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Trojans (West, TX), 47-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Troy upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX) to play the Yoemen in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Yoemen come into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Trojans play the Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 58-41 non-league loss to Somerville (Somerville, TX).
