Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sultans confront the Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Santana will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ).

The Spartans now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scripps Ranch for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. Chula Vista will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-2 non-league Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
