Sharon Eagles (Sharon, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oliver Ames Tigers (North Easton, MA), 62-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sharon upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Attleboro (Attleboro, MA) to play the Bombardiers in a Hockomock bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bombardiers come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Attleboro lost 67-47 in their recent league bout against Franklin (Franklin, MA)
