In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Milby Buffs basketball team scored a good 66-50 triumph over the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers.

In their next game, the Buffs meet the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 22. Milby will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 6-9 record after their 63-56 non-league win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX).
