September 13, 2019: Sykesville, MD In Friday's non-league game, the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) football team smashed the host Central Maryland Christian Crusaders Crusaders (Sykesville, MD), by a final score of 52-0.
The Orioles (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Maret (Washington, DC). The Frogs come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Maret overwhelmed Ron Brown (Washington, DC), 39-0, in a non-league game.
The Crusaders now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Virginia HomeSchool for a Eastern Christian game on Saturday, September 21. Central Maryland Christian Crusaders will battle a Centurions team coming off a 32-21 non-league win over Jefferson (Alexandria, VA). The Centurions record now stands at 4-0.
