Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead nips Bancroft-Rosalie
December 10, 2022: Bancroft, NE 68004 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) and the host Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers (Bancroft, NE), saw Mead's basketball squad hold off Bancroft-Rosalie by a tally of 68-64.
With the victory, Mead improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE) to play the Raiders in a D1 District 2 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Brownell Talbot lost 54-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, NE)
Next up, the Panthers play the Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Bancroft-Rosalie will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Blujays come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 65-62 non-league win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE).
