Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) and the visiting Northview Knights (Brazil, IN), saw Western Boone's basketball squad overcome Northview by a tally of 68-54.

With the victory, Western Boone improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Stars host Frankfort (Frankfort, IN) to confront the Hot Dogs in a Sagamore challenge on Friday, January 16. The Hot Dogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Knights confront the Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 13. Northview will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 82-48 non-league loss to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN).
