California High School Basketball - Burroughs overwhelms Newbury Park
November 22, 2023: Burbank, CA 91506 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) and the visiting Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA), saw Burroughs's basketball squad wallop Newbury Park by a tally of 52-11.
With the victory, Burroughs improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA) to battle the Royals in a non-league battle on Friday, November 24. The Royals come into the battle with a record of 3-0. El Camino Real won 40-36 in their recent non-league battle against Louisville (Woodland Hills, CA)
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
