October 19, 2023: Metairie, LA 70006 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Varnado Wildcats football squad scored a good 36-6 victory over the Crescent City Christian Pioneers.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) in a 1A District 10 match, on Friday, October 27. Varnado will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 27-12 non-league win over Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA).
The Pioneers (0-8) will now prepare for their match against West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Rams enter the 1A District 10 match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, West St. John dropped by St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA), 56-22, in a league match.
