In Saturday's non-league outing, the Reading Knights (Reading, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA), by a margin of 70-38.

The Knights (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 6-9 record. In their last outing, Schuylkill Valley was trounced by Holy Name (Reading, PA), 62-59, in a non-league outing.

The Patriots now own a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chester for a Delaware Valley outing on Tuesday, February 1. Penn Wood will clash with a Clippers squad coming off a 61-56 non-league loss to Lewistown (Lewistown, PA). The Clippers record now stands at 6-8.
