In Saturday's non-league game, the host Connersville Spartans baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the South Ripley Raiders.

The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their game against North Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, North Decatur was overwhelmed by Hauser (Hope, IN), 13-0, in a league game.

The Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels go into the Ohio River Valley game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Southwestern ran past West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN), 19-0, in a non-league game.
