In Thursday's non-league battle, the host North Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Central Bobcats.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Gilbert Christian went down by Centennial (Peoria, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
