October 1, 2021: White River Junction, VT 05001 In Friday's non-league game, the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) football team knocked off the visiting Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT), by a score of 48-20.
The Hurricanes (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Hornets come into the Division I game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Essex was knocked off by St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 35-28, in a league game.
The Colonels now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to U-32 for a Division II game on Friday, October 8. Brattleboro will battle a Raiders team coming off a 41-0 league loss to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
