Illinois High School Volleyball - Deerfield Hersey
September 15, 2011: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 The Hersey Huskies topped the visiting Deerfield Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Huskies now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schaumburg for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Hersey will confront a Saxons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 5-4.
The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings enter the Central Suburban - North test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Niles North was knocked off by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
