The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays walloped the visiting North Central Hurricanes football team by a count of 48-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, St. Edmund upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Fighting Blue Jays travel to Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA) to encounter the Trojans in a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, October 13. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Sacred Heart lost 42-6 in their recent league outing against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA)
