West Virginia High School Basketball - Wood County Christian topped by Valley
December 29, 2022: Williamstown, WV 26187 The Valley LunberJacks basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Wood County Christian Wildcat to 21 in the LunberJacks non-league victory on Thursday.
The LunberJacks now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hundred for a Mason-Dixon contest on Friday, December 30. Valley will battle a Hornets team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Mapletown (Greensboro, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-1.
The Wildcat (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Doddridge County prevailed over Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 50-42, in a league contest.
