Pennsylvania High School Football - Perkiomen School held off by Model Secondary School for the Deaf
September 30, 2023: Pennsburg, PA 18073 In Saturday's league game, the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) football team tipped the host Perkiomen School Panthers (Pennsburg, PA), by a final score of 26-22.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN). The Deaf Hoosiers come into the non-league game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Indiana School for the Deaf got by Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN), 80-2, in a league game.
The Panthers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Delaware County Christian for a Keystone State (8 Man) game on Friday, October 6. Perkiomen School will battle a Knights team coming off a 64-20 league win over Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
