Illinois High School Soccer - Timothy Christian knocks off St. Francis
September 9, 2021: Wheaton, IL 60187 Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) in a Metro Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, September 14. Timothy Christian will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL).
The Spartans now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Charles East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 11. St. Francis will confront a Fighting Saints team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 6-1.
