North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill overwhelms Weddington

December 15, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the visiting Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC), saw Cox Mill's basketball squad wallop Weddington by a count of 60-38.

With the victory, Cox Mill upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Weddington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
