New Jersey High School Basketball - Montgomery tipped by Manville
January 5, 2024: Skillman, NJ 08559 The Manville Mustangs basketball team scored 25 points and held the host Montgomery Cougars to 21 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Hunterdon for a Skyland - Mountain contest on Tuesday, January 9. Manville will meet a Eagles team coming off a 69-25 non-league loss to Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Voorhees (Glen Gardner, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Voorhees nudged Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ), 68-57, in a non-league contest.
