Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), 87-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Walkertown upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Wolfpack host McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to play the Phoenix in a 2A Mid-State bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 5-15. McMichael lost 84-67 in their recent league bout against Morehead (Eden, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. North Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
