Illinois High School Basketball - Quincy Notre Dame fells Pittsfield
January 10, 2016: Pittsfield, IL 62363 Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), 70-62 in a league bout.
With the win, Quincy Notre Dame upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL) to play the Comanches in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 16. The Comanches go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Cahokia lost 54-27 in their recent league bout against Centralia (Centralia, IL)
Next up, the Saukees play the Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 16. Pittsfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Kahoks go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 64-46 league loss to Belleville West (Belleville, IL).
