Arizona High School Softball - South Mountain loses to Glendale
April 17, 2018: Glendale, AZ 85301 The Glendale Cardinals softball team scored 31 runs and limited the visiting South Mountain Jaguars to 17 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Glendale moves its record to 5-15 on the year. The Cardinals host Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to clash with the Stampede in a 5A Union game on Thursday, April 19. The Stampede come into the game with a record of 21-3. Fairfax won 6-1 in their recent league game against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ)
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A Union game, on Wednesday, April 18. South Mountain will attempt to move on its 0-18 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 9-4 league loss to Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ).
