Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the visiting East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 44-32 in a league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a Upstate Eight battle on Saturday, January 15. Neuqua Valley will battle a Hawks team coming off a 78-40 league win over Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 18-1.

The Tomcats (10-13) will now prepare for their battle against Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Maroons come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 0-17 record. In their last battle, Elgin was toppled by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 44-25, in a league battle.
