The Chattanooga Central Pounders football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers to 0 in the Pounders non-league victory on Friday.

The Pounders now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host McMinn Central for a 3A Region 3 battle on Thursday, October 26. Chattanooga Central will play a Chargers squad coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 7-2.

Coming up next, the Hustlin' Tigers play the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a 5A Region 4 battle, on Thursday, October 26. Howard Tech will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record.
