Washington High School Basketball - North Mason can't hold off Port Townsend
January 31, 2012: Port Townsend, WA 98368 The Port Townsend Redskins basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting North Mason Bulldogs to 30 in the Redskins league triumph on Tuesday.
The Redskins now sport a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bremerton for a 1A/2A/3A Olympic contest on Friday, February 3. Port Townsend will meet a Knights team coming off a 75-68 league win over Olympic (Bremerton, WA). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
The Bulldogs (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Eagles enter the 1A/2A/3A Olympic contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Klahowya was nudged by Kingston (Kingston, WA), 71-26, in a league contest.
