In Friday's non-league match, the host Pawnee City Indians football squad scored a good 72-44 victory over the McCool Junction Mustangs.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Parkview Christian Patriots (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 17. Pawnee City will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 49-16 non-league loss to Sterling (Sterling, NE).
