Ohio High School Softball - Fairbanks bounces Catholic Central
April 30, 2024: Springfield, OH 45505 Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), 20-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Liberty-Salem for a Ohio Heritage North challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Fairbanks will face a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Catholic Central falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Irish host Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Chaminade Julienne Catholic won 15-12 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH)
