Kansas High School Basketball - Larned can't hold off Nickerson
January 30, 2024: Nickerson, KS 67561 The Nickerson Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Larned Indians to 53 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halstead for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Nickerson will battle a Dragons team coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Pratt (Pratt, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 3-9.
The Indians (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Halstead (Halstead, KS). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Halstead was nudged by Nickerson (Nickerson, KS), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
