Maine High School Basketball - Marshwood nips York
December 14, 2021: South Berwick, ME 03908 Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting York Wildcats (York, ME), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marshwood upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME) to play the Yachtsmen in a A South bout on Friday, December 17. The Yachtsmen go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Falmouth won 91-69 in their recent league bout against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) in a B South bout, on Friday, December 17. York will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Capers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 74-55 non-league win over Waynflete (Portland, ME).
