September 8, 2022: Huntersville, NC 28078 In Thursday's non-league game, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 14-6.
The Vikings (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Hough toppled Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 41-0, in a non-league game.
The Cardinal now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Myers Park for a non-league game on Thursday, September 15. Berry will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
