North Carolina High School Baseball - Carver loses to Cornerstone Charter
March 15, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals crushed the host Carver Yellowjackets baseball team by a count of 16-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop McGuinness for a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Wednesday, March 20. Cornerstone Charter will face a Villains team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Villains record now stands at 5-1.
Next, the Yellowjackets face the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 18. Carver will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 15-1 league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC).
