South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northrop Bruins (Fort Wayne, IN), 62-51 in a league bout.

With the win, South Side upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Archers host Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Knights in a Summit bout on Friday, December 11. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Bishop Luers lost 58-57 in their recent non-league bout against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)

Next up, the Bruins play the East Noble Knights (Kendallville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 9. Northrop will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 57-50 league loss to New Haven (New Haven, IN).
