Minnesota High School Basketball - Plainview-Elgin-Millville knocked off by New Ulm
December 28, 2023: Elgin, MN 55964 The New Ulm Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs to 53 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James for a AA Section 3 contest on Thursday, January 4. New Ulm will battle a Saints team coming off a 74-68 non-league loss to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Saints record now stands at 2-7.
The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record.
