Iowa High School Basketball - St. Ansgar ripped by West Lyon
January 20, 2024: St. Ansgar, IA 50472 The West Lyon Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and held the host St. Ansgar Saints to 21 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. West Lyon will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 57-33 league win over Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-4.
The Saints (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Huskies enter the Corn Bowl contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Nashua-Plainfield triumphed over Clarksville (Clarksville, IA), 41-35, in a non-league contest.
