West Virginia High School Soccer - Hoover knocks off Pocahontas County
September 14, 2019: Dunmore, WV 2493 Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Huskies confront the Poca Dots (Poca, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Hoover will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Dots enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV).
The Warriors now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pendleton County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 17. Pocahontas County will confront a Wildcat team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Wildcat record now stands at 0-3.
