Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) and the visiting Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), saw Lincoln's baseball squad edge Center by a margin of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Fighting Zebras play the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) in a Foothill Valley League battle, on Monday, May 10. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 12-4 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Alpha Charter (Elverta, CA).

The Cougars now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Colfax for a non-league battle on Monday, May 10. Center will play a Falcons squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Foothill (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 15-6.
