Missouri High School Basketball - Fordland topped by Hollister
December 23, 2023: Hollister, MO 65672 The Hollister Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Fordland Eagles to 50 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pierce City for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Hollister will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-31 non-league win over Greenfield (Greenfield, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, MO). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Sparta was defeated by Central (Springfield, MO), 80-42, in a non-league contest.
