September 13, 2013: Pearson, GA 31642 McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 27-0 in a league test.
With the win, McIntosh County Academy improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Buccaneers host Bryan County (Pembroke, GA) to confront the Redskins in a AA Region 2 test on Friday, September 20. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 3-0. Bryan County won 38-0 in their recent league test against Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA)
With the loss, Atkinson County moves to 0-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to Long County (Ludowici, GA) to confront the Blue Tide in a AA Region 2 test on Friday, September 20. The Blue Tide go into the test with a record of 1-2. Long County lost 42-7 in their recent league test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA)
