The Rankin Red Devils basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys to 28 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iraan for a 1A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, February 4.

The Cowboys (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sanderson (Sanderson, TX). The Eagles enter the 1A Region II District 10 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Sanderson triumphed over Buena Vista (Imperial, TX), 44-41, in a league contest.
